Climate Change and Sustainability
What is Climate Change?
Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts may be natural, such as through variations in the solar cycle. But since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.

Our Charitable vision
Our charitable vision is to mitigate against the effects of Climate Change. We do this in both our internal and external operations and in the past year, Action Renewables has taken the Climate Action Pledge, which demonstrates our commitment to reducing our scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions as an organisation by 50% by 2030 and working towards the measurement and reporting of scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions.
Our charitable works both locally and globally, aim to support local communities through the provision of renewable energies, creating independent and sustainable sources of renewable electricity, reducing GHG emissions and reliance on other fuels.
Our Climate Action Pledge
Action Renewables is proud to have signed the Climate Action Pledge, making an important public commitment to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030.
